Conduct cell culture of established and primary cell lines, cell proliferation, clonogenic survival, DNA/RNA extraction, immunoblot, flow cytometry, PCR, maintain laboratory reagents including buffers and medias, and measure weight and tumor size in control and experimental mice.Ģ. Plan and carry out in vitro and in vivo animal experiments for various research projects. Plan and carry out project in accordance with general plans (50%) The candidate is expected to work with animals, cell lines, animal and human specimens to study tumor immunobiology, signaling, and therapeutics.ġ. Working with a moderate degree of independence, the research associate will work under the general direction of the principal investigator to perform research work in two major areas, 1) colorectal cancer biology 2) tumor microenvironment. The goals of these research projects are to define the role of cancer immune response and disease pathophysiology, and ER stress in leukemia microenvironment.
